The device with robust and handy case seeks to determine moisture content of wood or building materials like concrete, brick, floor, plaster board, wallpaper, etc. The measuring range is 5-50% for wood or 1, 5-33% for building materials. The result is displayed on a large LCD display (in percent, resolution 0.1%) as well as audible beep (can be switched off).
There is a practical "hold" function which allows the measurement even in poorly accessible places. An automatic shut-off about 3 minutes after last use, as well as a lower battery voltage indicator is also included. Holdings is the device with a commercially available 9V battery (not included).
